InHer City Chic is coming to an inner city near you. On Saturday August 29th, InHerCity Chic held our first pop up experience, where we transformed a warehouse into a unique, engaging physical shopping experience. Our pilot pop up took place at Dapper Studios in the inner city of Brownsville Brooklyn (where approximately 1/3 (or 28%) of residents live in poverty), an area also identified to have the shortest life expectancy than any other community in NYC.

 

An invite only experience for young women age 16-25 who meet the eligibility criteria had the opportunity to shop for high quality fashion items for free. InHerCity Chic exists to create memorable tactile experiences that disrupt the antiquated clothing hand me down model.
